Lancaster School District teachers fish for knowledge in Japan
Two elementary school teachers will fish in Japan this summer to enrich their classes. Both teachers involve their students in the Trout in the Classroom program (TIC). Their classrooms are 2 of over 30 classroom in Lancaster County that are funded by Donegal Trout Unlimited. Over $700,000 aiding pollution cleanup in local watersheds to Donegal Trout Unlimited
A total of $703,675 in grant money from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection will flow into the Conewago, Conowingo, and Pequea Creek watersheds to assist with pollution cleanup work.
