Volunteers Needed - Stream Buffer Planting
Donegal Trout Unlimited is seeking volunteers for an upcoming stream buffer planting event at the Daniel Miller Farm.
Event Details:
Date: Thursday, November 5, 2026
Location: Daniel Miller Farm
376 Goat Hill Road, Peach Bottom, PA 17563
Schedule:
20 student volunteers from the 2026 Solanco Day of Service will arrive at approximately 9:30 AM. If possible, please arrive between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM to help set up and organize before the students arrive.
Special Requests:
Trailer Towing:
We need a volunteer to tow the DTU trailer from the nursery to the site.
Weed Whackers & Maintenance:
If you can bring a weed whacker, we need to do maintenance work on a previously planted buffer area. If time and resources allow, we will also straighten, replace, or remove tree tubes on the south side of the road.
Please email to confirm if you can attend. This will help us notify you if any plans change.
Thanks,
Marlan Nolt
